Supervision
Our supervisors are integratively trained, so we are able to work with therapists from a range of theoretical backgrounds. Previous supervisees have come from person-centred, Gestalt, psychodynamic trainings. We believe that supervision is crucial for professional development and can be tailored to suit the level of experience and stage of training of the supervisee.
Individual supervision
If you are a trainee counsellor or practising psychotherapist looking for supervision, then please get in touch to discuss your requirements. The Grove has a number of supervisors who offer individual sessions, on a regular yet flexible basis. Fees start at £90 + VAT per 50-minute session, depending on your professional circumstances and whether you are a trainee or qualified.
Supervision really helped me think about how I work with my clients and what is going on under the surface. I learned such a lot and Sarah supervised my placement work while I finished my Diploma hours for college.
Group supervision
If you are a manager or therapist within an organisation, looking for external group supervision to support your team, then do contact us to discuss your need for reflective practice. The Grove’s supervisors are experienced in facilitating group supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, coaches, key-workers in organisational settings. Providing supervision by Zoom is accessible and economical, from £100 per hour.
We’ve been going through massive changes in funding and management, that we were really cheesed off and definitely needed space to talk about our caseload. The group was very cagey to begin with, because previously the group felt quite rocky. But when Ben came along as our new supervisor, I felt much better about bringing difficult clients for supervision.
